Trinity Terlaje

Undergraduate Research Assistant

Trinity is currently a sophomore pursuing a pre-medical pathway through the Biochemistry program at the University of Washington. As an undergraduate research assistant at LAND Lab, she hopes to advance her understanding of changes in adolescent neurological and auditory development while also learning technical skills using electroencephalogram (EEG) and tympanometry tests that can be applied to her future clinical research. She serves as the Community Liaison for the Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students (MAPS) and also works at an OB-GYN clinic on the island of Guam/GuÄhan where she assists in the treatment of female and pregnant patients. Her experiences fuel her passions for health advocacy and education, and she hopes to contribute knowledge and data towards amplifying the voices of underserved people groups and bridging medical mistrust among minority communities. In her free time, Trinity enjoys exploring museums, snorkeling, and finding new food attractions with friends and family.
