Audiology Graduate Assistant
Emily is a graduate fellow completing a year-long clinical rotation at the UW Institute on Human Development and Disability in pediatric audiology with a focus on neurodevelopmental disability. She will be participating in PADL and LAND research projects throughout the year. Emily graduated from Western Washington University in 2020 and holds bachelor’s degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders and in Psychology. She will be graduating from WWU in June of 2024 with her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology. Emily has worked previously as a Certified Behavior Technician and is trained in specialty care for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Emily grew up in the greater Seattle area and is excited to be providing care to individuals in her home state. Throughout her schooling, Emily spent summers teaching sailing at a community center in Bellingham and is passionate about improving accessibility to outdoor recreation. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, hiking, sailing, kayaking, and being in the sun.
