Claire Tan

Undergraduate Research Assistant

Claire is a senior in Speech and Hearing Sciences at the University of Washington, and her future career goal is to practice as an educational speech-language pathologist. She has worked a lot with children and individuals who have a wide range of disabilities. Her background as an international transfer student from Malaysia has also helped her develop research interest in multilingualism, neurodiversity, and early language acquisition. Through volunteering at the LAND lab, she hopes to learn more about auditory speech perception from early infancy. In her free time, she enjoys running and listening to Taylor Swift.
