My name is Ngan Dang and I am a first-year medical student at the UW School of Medicine at the Seattle campus. I was born in Vietnam and moved to the U.S. with my family when I was about 7 years old and have been living in Seattle ever since! I am a first-gen college student and will also be the first person in my family to become a doctor…something that is both exciting yet nerve-wracking at the same time! My current medical specialties of interest include pediatrics and neurology, but I am definitely keeping my options open.
