Hetal Patel, MD & Heather Barnett, MD, PhD

Hetal Patel, MD is a third year resident in the UW Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Department. Her clinical interests include neurorehabilitation, spinal cord injury, and pediatric rehab. Outside of work she enjoys exploring the restaurants, hikes, markets, and dog parks Seattle has to offer.

Heather Barnett, MD, PhD, is a fourth year PM&R resident at the University of Washington and will continue at the University of Washington next year as a Spinal Cord Injury Fellow. Her clinical interests include spinal cord injury and post-traumatic rehabilitation. She is interested in health services research and quality improvement in the delivery of rehabilitation services.

Kathryn Lent, PT, PhD, DPT, is an Acting Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Washington.

Rachel Prusynski, DPT, NCS, PhC, is a physical therapist, board certified specialist in neurologic physical therapy, and doctoral candidate in Rehabilitation Science at the University of Washington. Rachel’s research focuses on the intersection between health policy, rehabilitation practice, and patient outcomes in post-acute care.
