Ian completed his masters in the School of Environmental and Forest Sciences in 2020 where he developed machine learning methods for predicting floods in cloud-obscured multispectral satellite imagery.
Caitlyn O’Connor
Caitlyn completed her masters in 2020 and focused on the impacts of non-point source pollution (stormwater) on marine ecosystems. Her thesis, Variation in Perceptions of the Stormwater Social-Ecological System in Puget Sound: Insights for Management Across the Land-Sea Interface, examined the perceptions of stormwater management experts in the Puget Sound region. Prior to joining our group, Caitlyn received a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Victoria.
