Please contact Kelly if you have suggestions over other events and/or providers that could be featured. - Head for a Cure is scheduled for July 9th – the event is dedicated to fighting brain tumor and brain cancer – feel free to attend. Visit | Head for the Cure
- The MS 10-year anniversary is July 1st.
Kelly is working with Kris’s team to provide a talk on epilepsy, which will also cover surgical options and introduce our neurosurgery teams
A ‘Headache fellowship’ is on the calendar. The fellowship is a result of a presentation in April by Dr. Murinova on “what every primary care MD should know about headache”. There was huge outpouring of interest, and from this event, a ‘fellowship’ was developed and will be made available at various primary care sites to educate PCs on how to treat basic things related to headache. The campaign is a creative way to address some of the access issues for headache and provide education and specialty knowledge.
IF there are other areas for which you’d like to see similar endeavors, let’s talk about it!
