Latinx Faculty & Staff Association

On behalf of the Latinx Faculty Staff Association Board, Welcome to the University of Washington!

Our Purpose

The University of Washington Latinx Faculty and Staff Association (LFSA) is an advocacy, leadership development and social network that addresses Latinx issues in higher education, including the educational concerns and advancement of the UW Latinx community.

LFSA is one of the UW Affinity groups, jointly sponsored by the Leadership, Community and Values Initiative and the Office of Minority Affairs & Diversity.

LFSA uses “Latinx” to recognize our intersectionality as a community spanning borders, genders, race, and other identities. We recognize the unique cultures and experiences of our community and join in solidarity for the advancement of all our members.

How to get involved with LFSA?

We are pleased to invite you to become a part of the Latinx Faculty  Staff Association (LFSA) at the University of Washington. Membership is open to those University employees who share a commitment to the goals of the organization and the willingness to work on its behalf.

Membership in the LFSA provides an opportunity to build community and foster connections with other Latinx faculty and staff at the UW.

We hope that you will join us in achieving our academic goals for the year and look forward to working with you. To become a member is pretty easy:
