Stress is neither fun nor healthy, and with finals week looming just around the corner, students’ stress levels will be at their peak. At the Campus Library, we want to try to alleviate some of the built up stress in the lives of students. On Monday, March 11 from 4:30-6:00pm, the UWB/CCC Campus Library will be hosting Campus Canines right in the lobby! Campus Canines is a therapy animal program in the Seattle area that has made multiple visits to students at UW Seattle in the past. These dogs are  great stress-relievers and will be able to help you get rid of that unwanted tension that school brings. Research has actually proven that dogs help students maintain good mental health, so whether you are a dog lover or in need a friendly face to look at, these dogs will surely brighten up your week by giving you a little bit of extra love.

Also, check out the other stress relieving events on campus next week by heading to http://libguides.uwb.edu/cram, and remember that the library will be open until midnight on March 12th and 13th. Good luck with finals!

  1. As one of the Campus Canines teams – with Pickles and Billie (Portuguese Water Dogs), I say we love making the visits as much as the students love us coming!
