Join us in-person or virtually on Saturday October 12, 2024 from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm for the first Long COVID Recovery, Insights, Support, and Education (RISE) Symposium.

The UW Medicine Long COVID Clinic is holding a symposium this fall with speakers and panels who will present information for both patient and provider audiences. Providers and patients are welcome to join either or both sessions. In-person and virtual attendance options available.

CME credits available for clinicians and lunch will be provided for all attendees.

Note: this is a mask mandatory event. KN95 masks will be available.

Clinician focused sessions: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Patient focused sessions: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

  • Official check-in will begin at 8:30 am, but if you require additional time to be seated, someone will be available to check you in as early as 8:15 am
  • The event will be held in the Foege Auditorium on the UW main campus. Attendees will be able to access the building at the entrance located at the intersection of 15th ave NE and NE Boat St.
  • Parking on campus can be difficult and does cost money, so please plan accordingly. Be mindful of the posted time limits to reduce the likelihood of receiving a ticket. We encourage attendees to utilize public transportation when possible.
  • As a friendly reminder, this is a mask mandatory event. We will have KN95 masks available at check in for those who need them.
  • We will have an Indian cuisine lunch available with vegan and meat options. If this does not suit your dietary needs or tastes, please feel free to bring your own food.
