Philip Kramer wins Young Investigator Award at the SFRBM annual Meeting

Philip Kramer recently received the Young Investigator Award at the Society for Redox Biology and Medicine’s annual meeting in Baltimore (2017) for his work “Fatiguing Contractions Induce Acute Redox Signaling in Mouse Muscle.” His work describes how the oxidants produced during exercise modify muscle proteins. These exciting results are part of a manuscript currently in preparation and will help guide future investigation in redox signaling as it relates to exercise and diseases such as sarcopenia.
