Dave presented a talk titled “The Effects of Mitochondrial Redox Stress on Energetics and the Proteome in Aged Skeletal Muscle” in Keystone, CO. He summarized work from the Marcinek lab and collaborators examining how the interaction between mitochondrial dysfunction and changes in post-translational modifications with age affect energetics and muscle function. Some of this work was recently published by Matt Campbell in Free Radical Biology and Medicine (see News item).
