UWT faculty member Dr. Margo Bergman requests your assistance on completing her study analyzing steps towards COVID-19 economic recovery in the City of Puyallup.

“The goal of this project is to differentiate between public health and economic uncertainty as we move into the next Phases of the Safe Start plan. City planners, who face a public health crisis not seen in a century, have limited funds to spend on both economic recovery, and public health messaging. By helping navigate the differences in perceptions this can help support community partners identify the best messaging and practices to promote both public health trust and economic recovery. While not intended to be specifically applicable to any other city or town, the information gathered can indicate best practices of investigation into these issues. All data and analysis, once aggregated and anonymized, will be shared in real-time with the community partner to allow timely incorporation into economic and public health strategies.”

If you would like to help, and you eat in Puyallup, or own an eatery in either the Puyallup Main Street, or South Hill Mall area, please complete one of these surveys.
