Mathew Joyner

Mathew is a junior chemistry undergraduate student from Olympia, Washington. His interests consist of the board game go, weight lifting, nuclear chemistry, and metacognition. Mathew joined the McCoy group during the Fall of 2017.

Research Interests: Currently Mathew is working on isolating the hydronium ion within the pocket of a crown ether in order to observe distinct peaks within the OH vibrational stretching region of the hydronium ion.
