McCoy Research Group

Nicholas Vetterli

Nicholas Vetterli is a second year in the McCoy group from Alamo, CA. He received a B.A. in Chemistry and Mathematics from Carleton College, where he worked with Dr. Deborah Gross to study aerosols and worked to determine the most efficient locally sourced materials for Ethiopian cookstoves to burn. Nick likes to spend his time playing board games, going on walks, and reading too much Brandon Sanderson. Nick is currently working to understand the influence of time step size on Diffusion Monte Carlo simulation results, specifically with regard to water clusters.
