Amanda Nilsen
Amanda Nilsen (she/her) is a first year PhD student in the McCoy Group. She received her bachelors in Chemistry from the University of San Francisco in 2025. While in undergrad, she worked with Dr. William Karney where she computationally studied heavy-atom tunneling in biosynthetic reactions. Outside of science, Amanda enjoys running, baking, playing guitar, and loves theatre.
