About Megan Hazen
I’m something of a professional nomad. My educational background is in mechanical engineering and electrical engineering, while my professional experience has been primarily research for intelligent systems. My work as an educator is driven by a deep belief in the power of education, and professional interest in pedagogy. Many of my most challenging jobs in recent years have been in the role of volunteering where the drive is to figure out how to do the most effective thing. Common themes are data, ethics, education, and pragmatic effectiveness.

How to address me:
Appropriate forms of address are Doctor Hazen or Professor Hazen, but I also usually answer to plain old Megan.
While I have deep respect for others who desire specific pronouns, I do not prefer to focus on mine at work, so you may use whatever pronouns feel appropriate, or, default to Dr. Hazen which is specific and accurate.
