The Neuroplasticity & Language Lab held a booth at the DeafNation Expo event at the Seattle Center on Saturday, Oct. 19. Lab director, Dr. Qi Cheng, graduate student Yuting Zhang, and ASL faculty member Kristi Winter were there. We shared our ongoing research with the Deaf community, emphasized the importance of full language access for deaf language development, and connected with many deaf and hearing signers, with many signed up to participate in our future studies.
