The Northwest Undergraduate Mathematics Symposium (NUMS) is a regional mathematics conference providing an opportunity for undergraduate students, or recent graduates, to present mathematical research done during their undergraduate studies (e.g. honors projects/theses, REU projects, etc.). There will be sessions featuring 15-minute student presentations (plus five minutes for questions and transition to the next speaker). Following the plenary talk, two sessions will run in parallel. We will be providing light refreshments in the morning and afternoon. Lunch and dinner are not provided; here is a list of nearby eating establishments.
The plenary talk will be given by Dr. Allison Henrich, Professor, Seattle University. The rest of the conference program can be found on the program page.
For more information about NUMS, including previous editions of the conference, please see the NUMS Conference Website.
