  1. Hi Anisha.

    Impressive poster! Cool project!

    Presentation feedback:
    – There is a lot of info in there, such that one cannot read some of the text even on maximum expansion (400% on my Powerpoint).
    – For the datablast, you will have 4 minutes and 4 slides (or something like that), so you will have to pick out only the most critical points in methods and results for this particular type of presentation. I know that hurts when you have so much to present!
    – Your audience will be a mixed bag (eg, a sleep surgeon) who will not be familiar with acronyms, so I urge you to limit them in the oral presentation.

    Science feedback:
    – Are there important potential confounders besides pre- v post-lingual deafness? Such as duration of CI, type of CI, programming variables, etc.? Will you adjust for those when comparing the two groups?
    – I would be interested to hear any theories you have on why pediatric patients appear to do better unexpectedly.

  2. I would think children with a CI would have improved spectral resolution compared to adult counter parts. Their brains are much more plastic and adaptable, especially compared to a patient who underwent CI placement at an older age. Did you control your analysis for age at time of implant?

Also, I agree with Dr. Weaver the poster text is too small.
