Thank you for your interest in shadowing a Pathologists’ Assistant (PA) at University of Washington.
Due to the high volume of requests and our obligation to maintain quality patient care without overextending our PA team, we allow a single 3-hour shadowing shift for each approved observer. To apply to shadow, please see the information below:

Hours of availability: 9am-3pm Monday-Friday, Thursdays preferred
Northwest Hospital Center
1550 N 115th St, Seattle WA
Hours of availability: 9am-3pm Monday-Friday
Harborview Medical Center
325 9th Ave, Seattle WA
Hours of availability: 12pm-4pm Monday-Friday

Complete the Application & Agreement for Observational Activities – Montlake, Northwest, Ambulatory Clinics following the instructions listed here.

PROCESS FOR HARBORVIEW:
Review the HMC Observation Privileges website
Complete the Application for Observation Form and email your application to Audrey Sontag, UW Gross Room Manager, at aasontag@uw.edu for signature and review. Include ideal hours and location.
