If you participated in the Project Reflect research study at the University of Washington, you may be eligible to participate in Project MAC, a confidential follow-up research study to get your thoughts, experiences, opinions on how researchers measure mood and cannabis use.
The purpose of this study is to get a better understanding of how young adults think about their mood in relation to their cannabis use, and to use this information to develop a new measure of mood for use in cannabis-related research.
Participation in this study will involve:
- If you are interested in the study, a member of our team will call you and review informed consent over the phone
- If you decide to participate in the study, you will be scheduled to complete an online, individual interview
- The individual interview will take about 60 minutes and will be over Zoom.
- We will ask you questions about:
- Your thoughts, experiences, and opinions about your participation in Project Reflect, specifically, how mood was measured
- Suggestions about how researchers can improve the way that we measure mood in-the-moment
- Insight into your understanding of the relationship between your mood and substance use
- We will ask you questions about:
- You will receive a $30 Amazon gift card for your participation in the study
