UWMC Badges Needed by Track
All of our clinical sites require badges; including but not limited to the University of Washington Medical Center (UWMC), Harborview Medical Center (HMC), and Seattle Children’s Hospital (SCH).
Medical Centers
- University of Washington Medical Center (UWMC) there are now two campuses (Montlake – ML or Northwest – NW)
- Harborview Medical Center (HMC)
- Seattle Children Hospital (SCH)
- Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA)
Adult Track
You will need badges for UWMC-NW, HMC, and SCCA.
Autism and Developmental Disabilities Track
You will need badges for both the UWMC-ML and SCH.
Behavioral Medicine / Neuropsychology Track
You will need a badge for UWMC and HMC. Your HMC badge is arranged by my counterpart at Harborview Medical Center. Some of you will also need badges for UWMC-ML (no need to get one of those if you are only doing rotations at HMC).
Child Track
You will need a badge for Seattle Children’s Hospital (SCH) only which you will acquire at SCH.
Where and How to Get your Badge(s)
University of Washington Medical Center (UWMC) – Adult, Autism, Bmed, & Rehab
UWMC & HMC badging offices must have your information in their systems. You will need a UWNetID before getting your badge.
- Where: The Public Safety Office should have the badge requests on file, ready and waiting for you. Your badge title will read “Psychology Resident” (non-MD). It cannot read just “Resident.”
- Location: BB120, 1st floor of UWMC , down the hall from the BB elevators and across from the Plaza Cafe entrance
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30a-4:30p
- Bring: State or Federally issued photo ID and your UW EID # (9 digit # that starts with an 8)

Harborview Medical Center (HMC)
Adult, Autism, & Bmed Tracks
- Where: Pick up your badge at the Badging Office. Your badge title must read “Psychology Resident” (non-MD). It cannot read just “Resident.”
- Location: HMC, 1CT-153 (across from the Center elevators in the main hospital
- Hours: 7a-12n and 1p – 4:30p
- Bring: state or federal issued photo ID with you, as well as your UW EID # (9 digit # that starts with an 8).

Seattle Children’s Hospital (SCH)
Child Track
You will be getting your SCH badges on the 1st day of orientation (7/1). Be sure to bring a state or federally issued photo ID.
If you receive an email from SCH asking you to make an appointment to get a badge, you may disregard it.
