Welcome to the PhD Program in Rehabilitation Science at the University of Washington. The purpose of this document is to provide you with a guide to the major expectations and requirements of the PhD Program in Rehabilitation Science, and to bring a few of UW’s many resources to your attention. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the content and refer to it often as you progress through the program.
Many degree and Dissertation requirements are established by the University of Washington Graduate School. This Progress through the Program (PttP) document should be used as a companion to the information on degree requirements and Dissertation submission processes provided by the Graduate School. We advise you to periodically check the Graduate School site for updates, and to particularly consult the Graduate School website for major program requirements such as for general examination and Dissertation procedures.
