1. Fill out our quick contact form here.

A member of our research team will give you a call to confirm your contact information and interest in RestUp.

 

2. Afterward, you will be sent a screening survey.

This is a confidential 10-minute online survey to see if the study is right for you. This survey includes questions about your personal characteristics (age, gender, etc.), and contact information (phone number, email address, etc.). Upon completion, you will be sent a $15 Amazon gift card.

 

3. If eligible, you will be invited to complete the next survey of the study and attend a training.

Study participants will be asked to complete another confidential online survey that will take about 15 minutes. Upon completion, you will be sent a $30 Amazon gift card.

After this survey, you will select a time to attend a brief 10-minute training over Zoom with our study team. This training will go over the next steps in your participation.

 

4. It’s time for daily surveys.

Participants will be asked to complete 5-minute daily surveys on their phone or computer.

Participants are paid $4 per survey, and receive a bonus of $5 each week that they complete 6 or more daily surveys. 

 

5. Next, discussion about health promotion materials.

Participants may be randomly selected to receive and discuss health promotion materials over Zoom with one of our study facilitators. There are four Zoom meetings with materials regarding sleep and substance use, including alcohol, marijuana, caffeine, and other substances.
