About me:
I am a postdoctoral researcher at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). Earlier, I was a postdoc at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2021-2023 in Baha Balantekin’s group. I received my Ph.D. in 2021 from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee. I am passionate about employing quantum computing and quantum information science tools to investigate the unexplored nuclear and neutrino physics research areas. I am interested in understanding the role of quantum entanglement in collective neutrino oscillations and how it can affect the supernova dynamics and the formation of elements in astrophysical environments. My interests extend to the classical and quantum simulations of nuclear many-body problems to scale these simulations to heavier exotic nuclei. I am also examining how quantum entanglement can help us understand the properties of nuclear fission fragments.
