About me:
I am a Ph.D. student in the group of Lorenz von Smekal at Justus-Liebig-University in Giessen, Germany. My research focuses on the universal real-time dynamics of hot and dense QCD matter close to a second-order phase transition. The underlying motivation is to bring the theory of the QCD phase diagram closer to the phenomenology of heavy-ion collisions, with particular focus on the search for a possible critical point. For this task universality is a powerful tool since it allows one to learn something about the universal aspects of the complicated real-time dynamics of hot and dense QCD matter by studying a simpler system from the same dynamic universality class.
