Mia Kumamoto

About me:
Mia is a current PhD student at the University of Washington, doing research with Sanjay Reddy at the Institute for Nuclear Theory. She received her bachelor’s from Santa Clara University where she did research on a path integral approach to Maxwell’s laws and invariant subsequences of matrices over principal ideal domains. Her research interests include using neutron stars as tests of Beyond Standard Model theories and modifications to neutron star thermal evolution from superfluidity and magnetic fields.
