About me:
After doing postdocs at the INT and in Spain, I am now a lecturer at the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) in Johannesburg, South Africa. My research interests revolve around the hot and dense matter created in very high energy heavy-ion collisions – the quark-gluon plasma (QGP). I have spent some time thinking about the QGP at high densities at very far forward rapidities, but most of my research considers various aspects of characterizing the QGP at asymptotically high temperatures by studying how the QGP alters the properties of highly energetic particles passing through it.
