Vincenzo Cirigliano is a Senior Fellow at the Institute for Nuclear Theory (INT). He received a Ph.D. in Physics (2000) and BA (1996) from the University of Pisa, Italy. Before joining the INT at the University of Washington he was a staff scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory and held postdoctoral appointments at the University of Vienna, University of Valencia, and Caltech. He is a Fellow of the American Physical Society. He has served on the INT National Advisory Committee and on the Nuclear Science Advisory Committee. His research interests include effective field theories from QCD to physics beyond the Standard Model, searches for new physics with hadronic and nuclear probes, neutrino physics and astrophysics.
