About me:
I am a postdoctoral researcher at Yale University working with Yoram Alhassid. Before coming to Yale, I earned my Ph.D. from Stony Brook University in 2022 under the supervision of Edward Shuryak studying the role of topological objects in QCD phase transitions.

My current research focuses on performing microscopic calculations of the thermal and statistical properties of heavy nuclei. I use the shell model Monte Carlo (SMMC) method to exactly treat the Hamiltonians of these strongly-correlated fermionic systems. Recently, I have extended this method to the actinides and am exploring properties of these nuclei that are relevant for astrophysical reactions, nuclear fission, and heavy-ion collisions.
