Lotta Jokiniemi

About me:
I am a Herzberg Fellow at the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany. I obtained my PhD from the University of Jyväskylä, Finland, in 2020. Prior to joining TU Darmstadt in spring 2025, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Barcelona in Spain, and at TRIUMF in Canada. My research focuses on the theoretical description of nuclear structure and nuclear electroweak processes. In particular, I am interested in the search of neutrinoless double-beta decay and its connections to beyond-standard-model physics.
