About me:
I am a third-year Ph.D. student at TU Wien (University of Technology Vienna, Austria). My research focuses on non-perturbative calculations of the quark-gluon plasma (QGP) created in relativistic heavy-ion collisions. Specifically, I am developing simulation techniques based on the Complex Langevin approach to circumvent the sign problem, which impedes direct access to observables that depend on physical real-time. Overcoming this computational obstacle opens up new exciting avenues in high-energy physics by allowing an ab-initio description of transport properties and spectral functions of the QGP from first principles.
