About me:
I am currently a doctoral student with Jürgen Berges at Heidelberg University working on the real-time dynamics of strongly-correlated quantum fields far from equilibrium. Collective behavior provides a central guiding principle in our understanding of how the quark-gluon plasma thermalizes, where I am in particular interested in how universal dynamics as described by the nonthermal attractor or hydrodynamics emerges from the underlying quantum system. Such universality allows us to relate different microscopic systems so that I often find myself thinking about the thermalization dynamics of non-relativistic bose gases and the quark-gluon plasma at the same time when trying to understand what unites them.
