Resources on Racism and Equity

The SAFS Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee leadership and staff have compiled a great list of resources on mental well-being, physical health, and legal services available at the UW including some great resources and discussions about DEI in science and education. Related, this Wednesday Roberts Lab group will be discussing and developing short- and long-term plans to do the work to eradicate racism and create an inclusive STEM field as part of #shutdownstem – https://www.shutdownstem.com/

We will be educating ourselves beforehand with the number of great resources I have linked to above and on this site (https://www.shutdownstem.com/resources). I imagine other groups will be doing the same. In the afternoon would be good to discuss as a larger community, so feel free to join us at 2pm on June 10
