Seagliders are autonomous underwater vehicles that are used to collect data such as the temperature, oxygen level, salinity level, chlorophyll level, and density of seawater.

The Student Seaglider Center was created in the spring of 2022 to make these underwater autonomous vehicles available for student research and to share the work of lab members with the broader student population.
