NE555 Timer – Bistable Mode – Schematic

Basic application of NE555 Timer operating in Bistable Mode, this is often referred to as a flip-flop. Here the circuit is switching between two separate stable states. It will remain in one of these states until one of the two push-buttons are pressed. A low rating capacitor can be used on the control voltage pin, (pin 5), to help smooth out the output volage of the circuit.
