Hello everyone!
Interested in diving? Want to mingle with divers? Join us on Thursday 10/24 in FSH 207 for a
SCUBAPups club meeting.
I’m Dalton Blackwell, and the other SCUBAPups officers and I will be giving a presentation on how to get certified, the logistics of getting certified, what you may expect to see underwater, tips from already certified divers, and an open Q&A about diving or the club in general. We will then hang out and chat afterward. Hope to see you there! (10/24 6-7 pm in FSH 207).

Interested in decarbonizing and improving the energy efficiency of buildings? Join the ASHRAE RSO! No experience required.
Did you know that 40% of the US’s total energy consumption is spent in buildings? Did you know that 40% of this energy is from the heating and cooling systems within your building, including your AC?
Why join us?
The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) at the UW is an engineering student RSO focused on projects, training and networking opportunities for all students to have the opportunity to decarbonize and improve the energy efficiency of buildings!
Some of our activities include designing net zero energy buildings, building tours, creating educational resources for students, analyzing UW’s sustainable energy transition, and more! So what are you waiting for? Join us!
How do I join?
We meet every Tuesday at 4:30pm in Gould 142. If you are interested in joining our email list on opportunities and events, sign up in this google form!

Happy first day of classes everyone! Looking forward to kicking SAFs back up this year and have some elections rolling in fast, so stay tuned.

Climate Collaboratory is an upcoming RSO created by students from different fields of study who are interested in interdisciplinary analysis of climate-related issues. Using inter-student teaching and learning, members can get a better understanding of how to address climate change and related issues, beyond the scope of just one field of study. Our goal is to enable students to effectively collaborate outside the siloes of their academic disciplines. We will create a platform that connects students with policymakers, scientists, scholars, industry leaders, and activists who can share insights on intersectional problem-solving. Using these resources, students will be better equipped to effectively work in diverse teams and contribute to the emerging green workforce.
