Many of our projects are completed by interns as their quarterly, individual project. Others are carried out by nursery managers, the nursery team as a whole, and/or during work parties where volunteers can contribute to our efforts of growing native plants in an environmentally responsible way. The projects vary depending on the current needs and goals of the nursery, ranging from the implementation of new production methods (coppice garden, rhizome increase beds, etc.) to the design and installment of tangible structures that improve our operation’s overall sustainability (beneficial insectaries, improved hoop house irrigation, etc.).
