Oliver Girouard – Winter and Spring 2025
The SER nursery has a large irrigation area where the native plants are moved during spring. To prevent plant shock from being inside the hoophouse to being directly under the sun, a shade cloth is installed over this outside area above the plants. In years past, the shade cloth system had several issues, making work at the nursery difficult. This past quarter an updated design for the shade cloth system was completed. This quarter Oliver installed the new shade cloth system!
