Amelia Wayman – Fall 2024

The nursery has experienced difficulty meeting the watering needs of the plants in the coppice bed area during the summer, as the existing irrigation wasn’t working or fully implemented. This project aims to design and construct a drip irrigation system for all raised bed in the area except for the camas, which will automate watering where we could only previously carry water buckets. This quarter, Amelia designed the system and made progress on installing mainline and drip tubing throughout the coppice area.
