Plant by Number Garden Kits – By E. Hadley Masiel (Winter 2023)

A pivotal issue in the survival of native plant species is the public’s lack of awareness about their importance to the ecosystem. People often will plant types of plants they find pretty without information to back up their decisions. In this project, a brochure/flyer was created for several different beneficial planting designs using the native plants grown by the nursery. They lay out the designs so that the public can then use them to “plant by numbers” for optimal placement.
