Undergraduate students, graduate students and postdoctoral scholars who submit abstracts to the SfN Annual Meeting can apply for Trainee Professional Development Award (TPDA) from the Society for Neuroscience. These awards recognize people who demonstrate scientific merit and excellence in research.
TPDA recipients receive:
- Travel stipend ($1,000 for trainees in the U.S., Canada, or Mexico or $2,500 for trainees based in other countries) to attend the SfN Annual Meeting.
- Complimentary SfN Annual Meeting registration.
All recipients must present their abstract during a special TPDA poster session on Saturday, October 5 and attend two professional development workshops during the meeting.
