Hi, Huskies!

If you’ve been missing the sunny weather, there’s some good news for you.

But first, we’re going to have to deal with a few more days of showers.

This morning is starting out with some sprinkles around the Sound with a few sun breaks possibly peaking out this afternoon with highs reaching the low 60s. Sunday will be a bit warmer, with highs in the mid-to-upper 60s under mostly cloudy skies and a few sprinkles heading into Monday morning.

Following a slight cool down and some light rain on Monday, sun fans rejoice, because dry weather will dominate for the extended forecast period.

Things begin to turn around on Tuesday, with highs on either side of 70 degrees. Temperatures will rise from then on, with highs topping out in the upper 70s by Thursday.

There is some disagreement between the models whether we will be warm or hot, but either way will be an improvement over the dreary weather as of late.

For now, hope the warm weather puts a spring in your step as we head toward the final few weeks of the quarter!

Enjoy your Labor Day weekend!
