Forecast: August 3rd, 2020

By Rachael Fewkes

Good Morning, Huskies!

After last week’s heat wave with highs consistently reaching the 80s and 90s, we’ll finally start to see some cooler temperatures today. You can expect partly cloudy skies in the morning and afternoon with decreasing cloud cover as we move into the evening. Highs will be in the upper 70s.

If you’re hoping for the not-so-hot conditions to stick around, you’re in luck! Temperatures will remain in the upper 70s through Wednesday, and on Thursday we’ll cool down all the way into the mid 60s as a few showers make their way through the region.

While the start of the week will still be warm enough for you to keep your fans and air conditioners operating, the heat should be more bearable than last week if you have any outdoor activities planned.
