Mild Warm up to End Week 4! 🌤️
By Alec Weise, Joseph Renalds, and Neve Lin
Good afternoon Huskies!
Today’s theme is sunscreen and sunglasses. The sun will be in full effect today with hardly a cloud in sight. High temperatures will top out in the low sixties, though northerly winds will cap how mild it will get. Nonetheless, a long sleeve shirt is all you will need to get through the rest of the day. Friday will be even warmer with temperatures potentially hitting 70F. This will be due to offshore winds and warming 850mb temps.
This shows offshore winds on Saturday at 18 UTC time, or 10 am here.
Saturday we will be welcoming new students from Admitted Student Day. There will be an increase in clouds throughout the day, but the rain will not come in until the evening.
Around 3:30 pm, you can see the rain coming in from the coast, moving into the south Sound.
By 6:30pm, it for sure will be soggy – watch out, new admits!
Sunday will be slightly cooler and starting off the next week with typical spring weather.
We hope you are able to get outside and enjoy these nice warm conditions to wrap up Week 4. Have a great weekend Huskies!
