This site is a project of the TWOMN 347 class on History of Women in the United States of the University of Washington, Tacoma led by Professor Margaret Griesse.
All of the posts are written by individual students who collectively demonstrate the diversity of people, struggles and feminisms of the First Wave of the Feminist Movement. This is an ongoing project as each class will continue to add to the group of individuals who worked for the rights of people during the time of the first wave and include discussion of the many themes that were salient during that time.
