Utilizing Mobile Technologies to Enhance Community Health
Two-way Texting (2wT) is a mobile text messaging system made with an open-source set of tools to improve health. The system is used for sending messages between patients and healthcare staff, both automatically and by people. Our mission is to bridge the gap between those who receive care and those who provide it, leveraging the power of 2wT to increase healthcare access, improve communication channels, reduce costs, and improve client outcomes.
With limited funds and shortages of skilled healthcare workers across many low-resource settings, especially in sub-Saharan Africa, 2wT can help support a healthier, more equitable model of healthcare delivery, one text message at a time.
