Two-way Texting (2wT) is a text messaging system made with Medic’s Community Health Toolkit (CHT) – an open-source set of tools for mobile health. It’s used for sending messages between patients and healthcare staff, both automatically and by people. 2wT was made with help from users and uses real-time patient data to improve reporting and reduce staff workload. In short, 2wT reduces unnecessary trips to the doctor, helps increase patient retention, and makes giving and receiving care more efficient for both the patients and healthcare staff.
