Event Descriptions

GME Meet & Greets

GME Meet & Greets are intended to introduce our new Program Directors and Program Administrators to key members of the GME Office.  These casual events are highly recommended for new PDs and PAs within their first 6 months.

GME Meet & Greets are held quarterly on Zoom.

Lunch & Learns

Lunch & Learns are open to program directors, program administrators, program faculty and staff.

Typically sessions are held the third Thursday of the month from 12-1pm online at Zoom (link sent via email).

Program Administrator Meetings

The GME Office hosts monthly meetings for program administrators from ACGME and non-ACGME programs.  Topics include GME updates, accreditation, appointments and credentialing, professional development, and best practice sharing.

Meetings are held over Zoom and links are sent out in advance of the meetings.

Program Director Development Series

PDDS is our core curriculum for program directors and faculty in support of continuous learning, development and educational innovation within UW GME. The curriculum is designed to meet ACGME annual faculty development and Common Program Requirements (CPRs).

Program directors, associate program directors, key faculty and program administrators (as space allows) are invited to join us at PDDS events.* The objectives of the program are to:

  • Provide opportunities for program leaders to learn from colleagues and experts about best practices in GME
  • Support excellence throughout UW GME
  • Create a strong UW GME community

* Each curriculum will be run twice in the Fall and twice in the Spring. All ACGME training programs are required to send a core faculty representative (ideally the program director or associate program director).
